Turning 40!

Today’s post is going to be a bit self indulgent. It’s my birthday. Today I turned 40.

Until a few months ago, age has never been a factor. My husband is 11 years older than I am and most of my friends are a few years older. It’s been that way the majority of my life. I had always taken it as a compliment that I was considered older than my years because I assumed that meant I was wiser and “able to hold my own” with any crowd.
